Palmknihy’s communication used to have very few boundaries. And while freedom can be a good thing, consistent brand building usually requires at least a small fence, if not a whole boundary. So we created a simple visual identity for Palmknihy, introduced Palmo as a mascot, and built everything around one clear idea: ‘A book is the best friend.'
Has a book ever asked you to hit KPIs?
Everyone has been annoyed or disappointed by someone close to them at some point. But a book? A book inspires you, excites you, sometimes teaches you something new, and never asks for anything in return. That makes it a pretty ideal companion. Palmo is based directly on the Palmknihy logo and accompanies the brand throughout its communication. Thanks to simple illustrations, he can express the full range of emotions that come with reading, from fear during a thriller, the joy of discounted e-books, or excitement over Christmas presents.
